FISHIN’ STILL GETTING BETTER.. 06/01

it’s raining as I post this.. but the forecast is calling for a nice weekend..

The fishing is still picking up a little each week.

Frank Vilorio is still putting customers on White Bass and Walley.  Whites are very good on Kastmasters and white slabs.  Schools of Whites are getting easier to find and follow.  Live shiners also good.    15 -30 feet deep in McRae Canyon and around the north end of Rattlesnake island were very productive yesterday and today.

Night fishing has started at Rock Canyon and Damsite.. Not sure about Damsite, but Rock Canyon has been producing lots of good Whites at night.. might want to call them before you show up to get the details..(times & costs etc..) look em up on the iner-toob..

No reports of Crappie this week.. so if you find em’…let me know

Walley were caught off of main lake points jigs and Wally Divers..  Yellow & Chrome.. No reports of Walleye around South Long Point.. but that is usually a go to spot if you are hunting Walleye…

No reports on Catfish this week.. But I bet that they are still hot up north on cutbaits…

The rising lake levels are starting to slow a bit.. the inflows are slowing and the release is increasing… but we should continue to rise for another few weeks… hopefully…

Pray for lots of rain up north…

We ran out of Shiners early in the week due to the enormous crowd over Memorial Day weekend.. We are expecting a large load of Shiners tomorrow (Friday) afternoon…  So we should be in good shape for the next week.

I plan on building cinnamon rolls for Saturday morning.. as long as you guys keep buyin’ em’… I guess I will keep makin’ em”..

Hire the neighbor kid to do the honey-do list..

come see us

On May 27th, Robert Jaramillo caught a 6lb 26 inch walleye and his daughter Gabryelle Jaramillo caught a few white bass.   That’s what it is all about…

Frank Vilorio makes em’ happy…
