The water temps are around 71 deg. in the mornings and up to 76 in the afternoons..
The water has lost a lot of clarity with the storms in the last week.. visibility is around 6 – 8 inches at mid lake..
Slow to good for White Bass using live bait, kastmasters, chrome or yellow jiggin’ spoons, chrome, white or yellow crankbaits..
Jig Kastmasters and slabs in mid water and off the bottom.. End line spinners are also working well for trolling.
Whites and some small stripers are found everywhere, just have to troll around and find the schools..
The south end on both sides and around the Butte are a good place to start. The “S” curve and around Castle Rock is also dependable.
Smallmouth and Black Bass have been going shallow looking for food, use crank-baits and keep moving..
All fish are slower due to the weather changes, but the same stuff is working as in previous reports.
Walleye are slow but can be found in 8 -12 feet trolling hard baits. Chartreuse Walley Divers are a good bet.
Catfish are still good up north and mid lake around rocky outcroppings..Cut shad & shrimp.
Good weather in the forecast, so fishing should improve. I will report if I hear anything changing..
The dam is closed, so the lake is no longer dropping.. Just no rain up north, so not much is coming in either.
as the weather changes, please forward any reports and I will post em’..
The cooler temps make for a nice day fishin’.. Cross off the stuff on the honey-do list and come & see us..
