Elephant Butte Lake Fishing Report

Tuesday November 8, 2016

TOLD YA’ THAT THE CATFISHIN’ WAS GETTING GOOD..

The water has finally cooled enough to get the catfish hungry…

Big stringers of good size Catfish are being caught in 10-20 feet of water ..

tight lining and trot lining with minnows, shrimp and liver..

The Whites are still very active, limits are being caught on Kastmasters & Slab Spoons jigging in 8 – 20 feet.

North Long Point around to Rock Canyon is good, coves on the east side are sketchy but active.. trolling with end line spinners seems best on East side coves..

Throwing across backs of coves is still a good bet if you are without a boat..

Tell mama that the weather is too nice for a Honey-do list.. you gotta go to the lake !!

come see us
