Water is clearing up,,, fishin’ is gettin better….

As usual, the water clarity was all but gone when the dam shut off… this time it was muddier than normal.  Anyway.. it is finally clearing up..

White bass fishing is picking up with clearing water, live shad and shiners are the best bait, some also being caught on trolling crank baits, white and chartreuse .

Large mouth, small mouth bass being caught in 10 to 15 feet of water using jigs and creature soft baits , rocky point’s leading to deeper water are good spots.

Catfish good over baited holes, cut shad is good choice.

If you can throw a cast net, the shad are not hard to find right now..

Some ducks are now showing up. Water is rising providing great habitat, a lot of Millet grass providing good feed.

Tell mama that the honey-do list has gotta wait…

come see us..
