its hotter’n whoopie in woolens out there… no end in sight to the weather..
Water temperature is around 73 degrees in A.M. water clarity at mid lake is 3 to 4 ft.
White bass are still very active.. pretty much everywhere.. start aroung the main lake points on the east side, Rattlesnake, Horse Island, Ash canyon… like I said… pretty much everywhere..trolling with white bombers or Rattle traps.. then when you find em’ stay put jiggin with kastmasters, slab spoons or cast with small curly tail jigs and/or drifting with live shiners..
Walleyes have moved a little deeper 12 to 16 ft of water, swim baits , jig head with live bait and night crawlers on worm harness is good, Yellow or Chrome Walley Divers.. try the rocky main lake points, and the gravel beds on South Long Point..
No good reports on the Black Bass or Smallmouth this week, but you can bet that they are active off of the main lake points. Use your confidence baits… (that’s the same bait that you caught em’ on last time!)
The weather is forecast to be HOT.. so be prepared.. Fish in the mornings and evenings.. take plenty of water..
I am gonna try to conjure up a heapin’ batch of home made cinnamon rolls for Saturday mornin’ ,, so come get’ya one..
It’s too hot for the honey-do list.. tell mama that you gotta go fishin.
