FISHIN’ HAS BEEN “OUTSTANDING”…

The white bass bite is very good..
early morning bite on white, chartreuse or silver curly tail jigs and small white crankbaits. The bite seems to run from daylight until about 9am. then shuts off.
The evening bite seems to start about late afternoon till dark… top water lures are the best in the evenings.. the rough canyons of the South East end and Pirate’s Cove are producing limits in the evenings.
Both morning and evening bites are best on the east side along banks that expose to the main lake. some good action reported this morning in the South West coves just South of Horse Island.
The birds are very active, so watch for em’, if you see em’ circling, they have found the fish.. get to em and start casting..
We have been selling lots of Live Shiners for both the morning and evening bites.. Also, the folks that have night fishing are reporting limits on Whites and a lot of Crappie.. fishing under lights around structure pretty much anywhere..
Have had a few reports of boils of whites on the East side beaches also.. the locals have been walking the beaches in the evenings, casting top water and draggin’ in nice whites with occasional Walleye..

Just overall a great time to be fishin’

The water Gods are supposed to shut down the damn tomorrow (Friday) That’ll be nice.. we’ll see..

Stephanie will have the “gut grenade” burritos tomorrow, Saturday and Sunday..

Always remember not to drink downstream from the heard…
