The weather has been sorta crappy for the last week or so.. but it’s supposed to get better this weekend.

The white bass have slowed down due to the cold front last weekend, but picked up a little today. So they may get biting again by this weekend.
water temperature is around 51 degrees
Folks are still catching them on deep diving crankbaits and bandit 300s. Trolling around the south side of long point and off the rocky areas on the east side. Most of the action has all been on the east side. Mid morning to afternoon bite.

Catfish very good at damsite using cutbait or live bait, stink bait. Mostly 1 – 2lbs with the occasional 5 pounder…

No report on other species, we have seen some Walleye fishermen in the last day or so, but no reports..

Remember, you still can’t camp on the beach but you can camp in the reservation areas.. you can use the beaches as usual, you just can’t camp overnight yet…

Casa Taco is stocking us up with the big ol’ “gut grenade” burritos every Friday, Saturday and Sunday mornings.. get em’ early if you can, when their gone, their gone..

The Game & Fish dept. issued a warning last week about Zebra Muscles being found in “aquarium supplies’… so please take this serious if you have an aquarium… if we get those buggers in our lake we will be sorry…
