Sorry that I missed the Fishin’ Report yesterday.. I have been jumpin’ through my butt around here and plum forgot what day it is… So here ya go…

Walleye continues to be very good in 3 to 9 ft. despite the heat. Yur best bets are main gravel points leading to deep water around the lake, bottom bouncers with worm harness, curly tail jigs and crankbaits still working good also live minnows on jig head work good.

White bass is good all over the lake trolling sassy shad, crank baits and live bait. For some reason jigging seems to have slowed in the past few days. But that’s not a reason to try jiggin’ if you find yourself in the middle of a large school. Drifting or slow trolling with live Shiners also is working well.

Large mouth and small mouth is good off points and droop offs using wacky worms or trick worms , live bait also.

Crappie and White bass still good at night under lights around marinas and other large structure. Use live Fathead minnows and/or Shiners.

I got no reports on Catfish this week.. but you can bet that your same techniques are still workin’..

The heat seems to have let up just a little, but don’t let yourself get in trouble… it’s still so hot that some folks are takin’ off stuff that really oughta be left on !!
