FISHIN’ REPORT – WEEK OF 04/12/23

Well the fishin’ picked up nicely this week with the improved weather..

Water temperature 56 – 58 degrees in the AM . Closer to 60 in the mid afternoon.. (at mid lake)

White bass are good trolling crankbaits and swimbait, drifting live Shiners around rattle snake and horse island. being caught in 20-30 feet of water..

Crappie starting to come into 20 – 15 feet of water, good on live Fathead minnows and small jigs, small kastmasters, some being caught around rock canyon and Castle rock andalso kettle top.

Large mouth bass moving into shallow water 6 to 4 feet. Plastic craw baits work good.

Several Walleye fishermen this week with nothing to report..

Catfish still good around the Damsite area at about 30′ with live bait.. ( Shiners )

Stephanie will have Casa Taco Burritos on Friday, Saturday and Sunday mornings.. come getcha’ one..

The weather looks warm this weekend with a little wind in the afternoons.. not bad..
