FISHIN’ REPORT WEEK OF 06/05/2024

Well the fishin’ continues to be very good..
The patterns did not change much from last week..

Whitebass fishing very good using slabs, kastmasters and spoon type lures jigging off the bottom on ledges and drop offs, trolling crankbaits is productive in 20 feet of water off point leading to deep water.

Crappie fishing is good in back of coves in 20 to 15 feet of water using live bait or jigging Crappie jigs over bushes, some being caught using crank baits in back of coves.

Walleyes good using crankbaits running on the bottom, curly tail jigs, sassy shad and worm harness with with night crawlers on a bottom bouncer.

No reports of Black bass or smallmouth this week,, though I know that the patterns have held from last week also..

Very early and very late seem to be the best bite this week..

It’s gettin’ “hotter’n whoopie in woolens” out there.. so be prepared.. you can always jump in the lake..

Load’em up and take em’ fishin..

come see us
