The fishing continues to be very good.. The dam is closed so no more water is flowing out.. for now..

We should see a rapid rise in the levels through the winter with the forecasted weather. ( lots of rain in our watershed )

White bass continue to be good using top water lures , kastmasters and sassy shad ,from Rattlesnake Island to the dam, large schools of white bass have been surfacing early to mid morning and late afternoon.

Watch for diving seagulls indicating feeding schools.

Crappie fishing is good using small jigs and live Fathead minnows around Rocky ledges and boulders.

Walleyes still biting in deeper water 12 to 20 feet of water using 1/2 to 1 Oz slabs.

Large mouth and small mouth hitting top water lures early morning.

Night fishing has been better than usual again this week.. Shiners and Fathead minnows under lights around structure, cliffs and boulders.

Steph will have the big ol’ gut-grenade burritos on Friday, Saturday and Sunday… come getcha one..

You raise a kid on concrete, they’ll never know “big wood from brush”…. Jim Owen ( I think maybe, that’s part of the problem)
