fishin is better but not exactly “jumpin in the boat”

The White Bass are consistent up North on the East side.. still pushing shad up to the banks in the early mornings in the backs of coves.. Use kastmasters, curly tail jigs and sassy shads..
White, Silver and Chartreuse are good bets..
Early this week the gulls were chasing shad and provided some nice catches.. that kinda went away yesterday and today. But continue to watch for the birds..

No good reports on the Walleye in the last few days, but if your gonna catch Walley you’ll need to be bouncing crank baits on the bottoms of gravel banks at around 5 – 10 feet.

Some folks went down to Caballo this week and caught a few Whites,, not any different than here at the Butte..

In a nut shell,, the fishin is spotty, most folks are getting a few fish.. a few folks are getting a limit..

The best bite seems to be very early until mid morning..

This will be the last weekend that Stephanie will have breakfast burritos.. so come getcha one,,, make it last all winter..
