White bass fishing is HOT,

Good spots are around Marina del Sur, coves on the south side of Rattle Snake Island, East part of Horse Island and Ship Wreck point.
Some feeding schools also observed around the flats of McCrae. Good lures to use are sassy sad, kastmasters and top water lures.
When the White Bass are running off the bottom use slabs or spoon type lures.
Crappie fishing is good on points leading out to the Channel around the entrance of McCrae using small grubs, small spoons and jigs.
Live bait with bobbers always catches them.

Large mouth and small mouth good on plastic grubs ,jig and pig and wacky worms in 3 to 15 feet of water, best around big boulders and drop-offs.

Walleyes are being caught in deeper water but have slowed down.

No reports on Catfish…
