White bass fishing is fair using medium and deep diving crankbaits and swim baits or drifting with live shiners out in the open channel. Just have to keep with it.. don’t stay in the same spot if your not catchin’ em..

crappies are being caught around the marinas deep using small live fathead minnows and jigging small kastmasters and crappie jigs tipped with a small minnow. Some crappies are also being caught in the back of McRae Canyon and around Kettle top in 30 feet of water off the bottom.

Lots of catfish being caught off the bottom at Damsite marina using cut bait, stink bait and live minnows .

Black bass and smallmouth bass fish is fair using plastic baits and drop shot. Some large mouth being caught close to the bank as the are now starting to form beds.
Please practice catch and release with spawning fish this time of the year.

Some Walleyes are starting to bite on gravel points and ledges in 4 to 10 feet of water. bumping crankbaits and Walley Divers slowly off the bottom…

The weather is getting better each week.. the water levels are rising fast.. we have lots of snow up north in our water shed.. it should be a great year for the lake levels..
